The Sword of the Spirit - Why the KJV beats them All

Updated: Dec 11, 2022

Many today simply don't understand why anyone would use a Bible like the King James with such archaic language. It's appears to many as an outdated relic. The thy's, thee's, and thou's are enough to turn even the best of readers off as it can seem difficult to understand. There is a plethora of websites and well written articles all over the internet that will wonderfully defend the KJV and some that will bring forth what appears to be excellent arguments against it. I'm not going to spend long hours doing either as I'd be wasting valuable time in doing something so many have already done exhaustively. What I will do is briefly explain some key reasons why I believe the KJV stands above all the rest and encourage you to do your own research not taking my word for it or any other man's word but taking it to the Lord in prayer and examining the facts and scriptures and see for yourself why so many like myself have turned away from modern English Bibles going back to a finished work over 4 centuries old. I only intend to plant the seed and let God do the watering. Ultimately, you have the choice of your own Freewill to seek the truth of this matter or not.

My first point would be to make it clear that the KJV is not even from the same manuscripts as nearly all other modern Bible versions. It is clearly set apart as the KJV New Testament comes primarily from the Textus Receptus and most of all modern English Bibles are derived from Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus. The Sinaticus was discovered in the trash in St. Catherine’s Monestary (near Mt. Sinai) in 1844 while the Vaticanus was found in the Vatican library in 1475 and was rediscovered in 1845. These two primary manuscripts used as the foundation for our modern Bibles conflicted each other in thousands of places were missing multiple books of the Bible and even contained extrabiblical gnostic books.

Most scholars agree nearly all evidence of ancient Greek manuscripts agrees with the KJB. Many will use the argument that these new found manuscripts were older making them better. They were older because they were rejected like that pair of jeans that never fit right. They weren't being worn out from use and reprinted like the others in use from the same Greek manuscript family as Erasmus (known as the Textus Receptus, Byzantine Text, Majority Text or Traditional Text). These two newer manuscripts (Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus) were then compiled together and translated by two occultists and necromancers Wescott and Hort as they proceeded to butcher the Bible as they saw fit to create their new Greek "critical text".

These men were members of the Ghostly Guild, Hermes Club and fond admirers of Charles Darwin. It can be easily found for anyone that does their research on these two men from their own writings and those of their own family members that these men hated God. It can then make one wonder why would anyone who hated God seek to put out "better Bibles". Could these Bibles be a subtle attack on Gods word? I would ask that you judge a tree by its fruit. Is God the author of confusion?

Let's begin by examining the KJV vs the others...

Did you know that if you read from most modern perversions they make Jesus a Liar!?

Yes, it is true. If you read from a ESV, NIV, ASV, NASB and many others you will read In John chapter 7 Jesus lies to his disciples!!

Jesus tells them he is not going to the feast but then does in secret. This makes Jesus a liar! But if you read from the KJV you will see how Jesus says something different...

It is these subtle changes that you will find all throughout these corrupt Bibles that cause all kinds of doubt, confusion and attack the Inspired Word of God and many Christian doctrines.

You will find not only are words removed, deleted but entire verses removed or changed entirely.

1 John 5:7 speaking of the Tri-Un nature of our God for example...

For many this is simply not enough, they will quickly turn to men to explain why this verse doesn't belong rather than Gods ability to inspire and preserve a divine work.

"The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times." - Psalm 12:6

It is no wonder, it seems as though Satan himself was working behind the scenes of a nefarious schemed attempt to thwart the production of this inspired work through Guy Fauwkes and the infamous Jesuit controlled gunpowder plot of 1605. It is noteworthy also to mention, William Tyndale who in the mid 1500's aided in putting forth an early work of translating one of the very first Bible's last words before being executed in 1536 was

"Lord, open the king of England's eyes".

Amazing! His prayer was answered! And in less than a century later his hard work was used in the production of what we now know today as the Authorized King James Bible of 1611.

I believe this was the culmination of a final masterpiece for a last generation. Tried like silver into the English language which has become the first language of the World today with over 1 Billion people on earth who speak it.

Before I continue I would like to make the point, that if we can't stand entirely on the Bible and put our full trust in Gods preserved Word then do we really trust his Word at all? Do we then put men above Gods word?

ALL SCRIPTURE is given by the Inspiration of God!

Hebrew 4:12 "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

Jesus said...

Now back to more reasons why it stands above all modern perversions as I call them.

We've seen the Trinity removed but what else? In the ESV the name of Jesus is removed 18 times, Jesus Christ is removed 51 times, Christ 39 times, Lord 66 times, God 38 times, over 20 entire verses removed and over 33,000 words in the New Testament alone are removed! They remove the blood of Christ (Colossians 1:14) "repentance" in multiple places (Matthew 9:13 for example) and so much more. Once you begin to look at all the differences it becomes painfully clear who is behind these Bibles. I chose to pick at the "Elect Sovereign Version" as I call it because it is one of the most used versions in most reformed evangelical Chruch's as they used a committee of men consisting of Calvinists teachers like Wayne Grudem to shape and mold this version. But make no mistake you can add the NIV (non-inspired version) and many others in the same category. They are all clever counterfeits.

How can I be so bold? Because I judge a tree by its fruit...

Speaking of the MYSTERY of Godliness... WHO was manifest in the Flesh?

He? No!

GOD!!!

Are you beginning to see the picture here? Not yet?

How do we wage spiritual warfare against one demonically possessed? According to ESV it requires faith...

But according to the King James it requires not just faith but also that certain kinds require prayer AND Fasting!

You see also that by reading from the wrong Bibles we are not properly equipped with the knowledge to engage in Spiritual warfare.

There's so much I could write on this subject for days it would take me countless hours to try and expose these gross perversions for what they are however let's look at some real blasphemy shall we?

It is commonly agreed among most Christian's that in Isaiah chapter 14 we read about the Adversary the Devil. The anointed cherub who fell and began a rebellion against the Most High. He is often called by many names and titles, the great Dragon, that Old serpent, the Devil, the Adversary, the tempter, Beelzebub, Abbadon, Apollyon, Satan, Lucifer. If you were to talk to many from both sides of the Spiritual battle taking place most would know who is being spoken of by the Latin title of Lucifer. Meaning "Light bearer". He is the bringer of false light, a cunning deceiver as are his ministers (many in the pulpits today). 2 Corinthians 11:14 "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." (Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness...verse 15)

It should not be confused who Lucifer is...

So we see in Isaiah 14:12 This Fallen one is called Lucifer in the KJV. But in the ESV, NIV and many others he is given the title of the Day Star or Morning Star. This causes extreme confusion. But why?

"For God is not the author of confusion..." 1 Corinthians 14:33

First let's look at 2 Peter 3:19,

Why would Peter be speaking about the fallen one arising in our hearts?

The answer is simple...

Because according to All Bibles, Jesus is the Bright Morning/Day Star!

Do you see what they've done!? They have confused Lucifer and Jesus. The counterfeit and the Real. They have given the same title to the fallen one as they have to the Jesus the King of Kings and Lord of the Lords. Now why would you want to read from a Bible that doesn't distinguish a difference between the two? How anyone can even defend such a literary trainwreck astounds me.

It is of no surprise then that these abominable butchered texts twists just about everything. From the wicked's ways being grievous VS prosperous,

Or full of errors like in 2 Samuel 21:19 in the ESV where it says Elhanan slew Goliath. But where the KJV says the 'brother of' as we know David killed Goliath. While many of the butchered texts get it right in this particular case the track record of these so-called Bibles are horrible. With so many inconsistencies and errors they certainly don't show the inspired hand of God contained within them. That's not to say we can't gather a greater understanding by using a Concordance. It is an invaluable tool for deeper understanding in many things as for example there are two different words for Love in the original Greek with differing meanings and in the English we only have one word for Love.

One of the biggest problems people are unaware of is copyright laws. When a copyright is given is has to be authentic and differ from others for monetary gain. So in order to pass the legalities thousands of changes must be made to God's word to make money. Every time new versions comes out or updated version it has to have a certain amount of changes from its predecessor. They are altering and removing Gods Holy written word for gain of filthy lucre.

God does not take this lightly, in fact he abhors it. And there are extreme dangers of tampering with his word, both adding to or taking away, as we see clearly in the final verses of the Bible. Reading these final words of warning should make the hairs on your arms stand up. God clearly takes this matter VERY seriously!!!

Revelation 22:18-21

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

As I said earlier, do your own research, don't take my words, I could write on and on sharing many of the thousands of alterations, deletions and omissions. They are an attack on sound doctrine and an attack on Gods Word.

Finally, While the newer versions will often seem easier to read at times in many instances they are not, For example,

NASB changes “new“ to “unshrunk” (Mk 2:21); “sat” to “recline at the table” (Mt. 8:11, Lk. 5:29); “good” to well pleasing“ (Mt. 11:26, Lk. 10:21); “ready“ to “opportune” (Jn. 7:6); “much people” to “considerable numbers” (Ac. 11:24, 26); “sin” to “transgression” (Col. 2:13); “sin” to “lawlessness” (2 Thes. 2:3), etc. The NKJ changes “of” to “concerning” (Ac 25:20), “boat“ to “skiff“ (Ac 27:30), “stir” to “commotion” (Ac 19:23), etc., etc.

Some Christians object to the KJB’s use of "thee,” “thou,“ “thine,”’ and “ye.” However there are singularity and plurality to these words that are lost in modern English. For example,

When Jesus said to the Pharisees in John 8:44, “ye are of your father the devil” we know from the KJB that he was speaking to the entire group, not just one individual because of "Ye".

For anyone looking for an inexpensive aid to some of the archaic words used, these are great and excellent gift to others...

I hope this article will be helpful for others. You will as a KJV Bible reader often come against many as I have that will throw all sorts of scholars and theologians at you, those well versed in hermeneutics and Bible history. For me, I Believe though there may be some to glean from such people they are often more deceitful than beneficial. For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent". Satan is a great theologian and expert in scripture and hermeneutics, he often comes saying "Yea, hath God said" or "For it is written". His primary way of getting his poison through to Christian's is by twisting Gods word which is why I believe as we draw closer to the return of Christ that more and more Churchs depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, it is no wonder the Churchs are becoming morally and spiritually bankrupt as many are being fed by wolves in the pulpits using these corrupted diluted Bibles put together by occultists. We can trust in Gods Word, and stand on it. As soon as we put the teachings of man in higher esteem then that of the Holy Spirit and God's Word we are setting ourselves up for deception. Let the Holy Ghost and Holy Word be your guide.

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man. (Jeremiah 17:5)

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. - 1 John 2:27

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. - Galatians 1:11-12

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

- James 1:5

We read in Hebrews 4:12 the Word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword, and in Ephesians 6:17 it is the "sword of the Spirit".

We are in a Spiritual Battle, how are we to engage in battle effectively with a dull, rusty, compromised sword???

Pick up a brilliantly sharp King James Bible from the received text accompanied with a Strong’s Concordance and you will be blessed!

On a Final Note, one thing I almost missed and must address are the mockers who try to find errors in the KJV. I always say if there's error to be found in Gods Word it lies within the man's understanding not the Word. We might fail to comprehend something but that doesn't mean God's word is wrong,

For example Job 39:9 "Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib" whereas most other versions say Wild Ox.

Here they will mock and laugh at the KJV as if this is speaking the fictional horse-creature of fairy tales, folklore and in artists renditions that has a long horn growing out from between it's eyes. While it could be possible that perhaps such a creature may have once existed it is most likely not the case. What is very likely is it is speaking of a real verifiable one-horned creature such as the Rhinoceros Unicornis (otherwise known as the Greater one-horned rhino (or “Indian rhino). See, just like that we found a perfectly plausible explanation! Another is Easter in place of Passover, while their is much debate as the word used was Pascha the KJB translators got it right concerning this Pagan festival of Ishtar/Ashtoreth/Astarte/Eostre because Acts 12:1-4 in modern Bibles puts the Passover after the feast of unleavened bread which is clearly incorrect according to Leviticus 23:5-8 and Numbers 28:16-25 whereas correctly the Passover takes place on the 14th of Abib, then Days of Unleavened Bread from the 15-21st of Abib after the Passover. This error creates another problem where scriptures contradict itself but with the KJV there isn't as there is no contradiction and Herod was a Pagan celebrating Easter which Constantine later co-mingled with Christianity.
