What We Believe: The Basic Fundamentals

Jesus is Lord
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life! We believe the man Christ Jesus, was the only begotten son of God the Father (John 3:16). He was God incarnate born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23, Isaiah 7:14, John 20:28), the Word made flesh (John 1:1-14) and creator of mankind, the Heaven and the Earth (Colossians 1:16 , John 1:3). He dwelt among us, manifest in the flesh, just a little over 2000 years ago and his eternal Word will last forever (Matthew 24:35). He is the one and only sole mediator between man and God (John 14:6) and is one of three distinct persons making up a Holy trinity of a tri-un Godhead, the harmonious and perfect unity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost (1 John 5:7, Matthew 28:19). He was crucified, died and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:4, 2 Corinthians 15:5). He ascended into Heaven to the right hand of the Father (Luke 22:69)."And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven" (John 3:13). Mankind has sinned against our creator, broken his laws and commandments, for that we deserve his wrath, but through his love and the sacrifice of his only begotten Son can we be justified (Romans 5:8-21). He is the Lamb of God (John 1:29, Revelation 17:14) and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5), His blood was shed on the cross as a sacrifice for the propitiation and remission of sins (1John 2:2, Matthew 26:28)."For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6 :23). "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12). He is the "Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last" (Revelation 22:13). He is the "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS" (Revelation 19:16) and will soon return with the armies of Heaven (Revelation 19:13-14) to destroy the wicked, reward the righteous and establish his millennial reign and Kingdom on Earth (Revelation 19+20) and ultimately a New Heaven, New Earth and New Jerusalem. A future where there will be no more wars, no more pain or suffering, and there will finally be peace (Revelation 21:1-5, Isaiah 11:6-9, Isaiah 25:8).
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6)
What must I do to be Saved?
LAST DAYS - Perilous Times
We believe that if we discern the times in which we live, according to scripture, it is very evident for those with eyes to see and ears to hear that we are living in the last days before Christs return, in fact even the disciples understood the time in which they lived 2000 years ago! (Acts 2:17, Hebrews 1:2, 1 John 2:18). We are nearing the end of this current age and on the cusp of what prophecy reveals as a time period of Great Tribulation such as the world has never seen (Matthew 24:21). We base this belief solely on the many prophetic biblical signs and warnings given by our Lord Jesus ), his chosen prophets and apostles and what has transpired over the course of history and how we see things escalating day by day.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them,
Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. -MATTHEW CHAPTER 24:3:-14
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;" - LUKE 2:25
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. - LUKE 17:26-30
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 TIMOTHY 3:1-5
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables"
2 TIMOTHY 4:3-4
..."there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?..." - 2 PETER 3:3-4
While these passages merely scratch the surface of the depth of end times prophecy our ministry will serve as a watchman sounding the alarm as prophecy unveils and the pages of the Book of Revelation unfold we will dedicate much of our efforts discussing end times world events and how they apply to the current age in which we live and how we can prepare ourselves spiritually by studying the Holy scriptures of what is yet to come.

The Bible tells us that, "the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12 . The answers to salvation are easily found in multiple places all throughout the Holy scriptures so let us keep things simple and let the Word of God speak for itself on this issue and may the Spirit of truth guide you to it! The Words of Jesus are highlighted in Red.
..."if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. - Romans 10:9 - 10:10
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” - Romans 6:23
“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." - Luke 13:3
"Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent." - Revelation 2:5
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. - Acts 2:38
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. - Mark 16:16
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. -Acts 3:19
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. - 2 Peter 3:9
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. - 2 Corinthians 7:10
..."Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. - Acts 16:30-33
"YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN"!
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again - John 3:1-7
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
- 2 Corinthians 5:17
"And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple." - Luke 14:27
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." - Matthew 7:13-14
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” - Matthew 7:21
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me" - Matthew 15:8
"If ye love me, keep my commandments" - John14:15
.
There are many verses we can find written pertaining to the prerequisites of salvation but these few key elements are consistently throughout: an earnest faith and belief in God, the man Christ Jesus and his sacrifice for sins, followed by true repentance and baptism. "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves (James 1:22). Jesus clearly taught a Gospel of obediance to God, if we continue to live an unrepentant sinful life that does not follow the clear teachings and messages of Jesus we deceive ourselves. We will touch upon these and other related hot topics such as "the sinners prayer" and the doctrine of "Once Saved Always Saved" in our blog at a later date. For the time being people should be forewarned both are dangerous and deceptive teachings that later be cause for many being led astray.
Notable Mentions
Church?
We believe the Church is not a building but a group of people and that God does not dwell in temples or buildings made by human hands but that our bodies are temples of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 7:48-49, 1 Corinthians 6:15-20)
Also, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." -Matthew 18:20
We believe very much in the importance of a local visible church set apart from all government affiliations and we look to the early church found in the Book of Acts as our model of what we should ultimately strive to be. A local church under the
Canon of Scripture?
We reject the uninspired books of the apocrypha as nothing more than religious texts containing some historical significance and believe that the Holy Bible and the 66 Books of Holy scripture contained therein is the authoritative, inspired and infallible Holy Word of God, It has been preserved, protected and passed down through the ages and contains no error. (Psalm 12:6-7, Isaiah 59:21 Proverbs 30:5-6, Psalm 111:7-8, Isaiah 40:8, 1 Peter 1:23, Matthew 4:4, Mark 13:31, Matthew 24:35, Luke 21:33) We stand firmly by the Textus Receptus (the received text). We believe the only Bible version printed in the English language today that has not been corrupted, is what is known today as the King James Bible. It is the only modern bible in the English language that stands out against all the other butchered perversions of scripture compiled from rejected manuscripts such as the Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus by the likes of historically blasphemous, God-hating wicked men such as Wescott and Hort who were known necromancers.
We believe God takes tampering with his Holy written Word VERY seriously! Revelation 22:18-19, Deuteronomy 4:2.
Old Testament Law?
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew
5:17-20 "
...Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." - Matthew 22:37-40
(see also Romans 3:20-31, Galatians 2-3, James 2:10)
Spiritual gifts?
We do not deny any of the spiritual gifts as explained throughout the Bible and in more detail in 1 Corinthians 12:4–11.
Hell?
The idea of fiery torment is a touchy subject amongst many self professing Christians and shouldn't be. Jesus talked alot more about hell than he ever did about heaven. Punishment of the wicked is part of what makes God righteous. "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." Romans 12:19, "Who will render to every man according to his deeds" Romans 2:6. Would a righteous and just God turn a blind eye to wickedness and allow it to go unpunished? Eternal punishment is a crucial part of the message of the Gospel and should not be ignored. "The Good News" is we don't have to suffer this fate by the blood of Jesus. The everlasting Lake of Fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, but many men and women of the earth will join them (Matthew 25:41, Mark 9:43, Revelation 20:10-20:15, Revelation 14:11). If we are to try and be imitators of our Lord Jesus as our ultimate role model then we should take into consideration that Jesus was hell-fire preacher that warned time and time again of this place of "wailing and gnashing of teeth"(Matthew 13:50) because he wished for none to go there. The subject of Heaven and Hell goes much further than what most people think. There are different levels of each, different resurrections for different groups of people at different times and at some point Death and Hell are Thrown into the Lake of Fire!? (Revelation 20:14). If this raises many questions, you are not alone. What lies beyond the grave is the subject of much debate. We will be working on putting together many further studies of what lies beyond our current world and the things to come for humanity, but the main point we mustn't lose focus of here is, Hell is Real! Eternal punishment is very biblical! The next time we feel this an offensive subject inconsiderate of ones feelings remember this,
"When I say unto the wicked, ‘Thou shalt surely die,’ and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way to save his life, the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand" (Ezekial 3:18)
The Lord's Supper?
"...this do in remembrance of me" Luke 22:19, Mark 14:22-25, John 6:50-71, 1 Corinthians 10:16-17. The observance of the Lords supper is commanded by Jesus as a way of spiritual union of believers to come together in fellowship with our Lord and express our faith by remembrance of the sacrifice he made for us and that we are all partakers of that sacrifice as one body in Christ. We are also warned doing so unworthily is a serious offense to God. Sadly, the practice was first corrupted by the Roman Catholic Church into the ancient pagan cannibalistic practise of Theophagy also known as "god-eating". We reject Theophagy and the false doctrines of Transubstantiation and Consubstantiation.
Rapture?
We do not believe pre-tribulational rapture doctrine and believe it to be unbiblical and a well orchestrated deception that will cause apostasy among many Christian believers when tribulation arises, like the seed that received the seed into stony places (Matthew 13). We are always willing to discuss this further and do not believe it to be a salvific issue. However we do believe there will be those who keep the word of his patience and will be kept safe during the great tribulation period. -Revelation 3:10, Revelation 12:6, Jesus clearly taught that his return would be AFTER the tribulation (Matthew 24:29) as did the early Church.
HOLY DAYS?
We do not agree with modern Christianity's adaptation of worldly holi-days such as Easter (Ishtar, Eostre) and Christ-Mass (Saturnalia, Yule) deeply rooted in paganism and vain customs and traditions of men that's origins can be traced as far back as Nimrod, Semiramus and Tammuz. The continuation and evolution of these celebrations that were born from the worship of false gods, idols and abominable practices passed down over the centuries and millenniums should not only be abstained from but abhored. We should have no fellowship with the world and the ways of it. "...For that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God" -Luke 16:15. Trying to Christianize paganism as an offering to the Lord is like trying sweeten that which is already rotten in Gods eyes. God is Holy and putting his name to such things is detestable. Scripture clearly commands us not to worship Almighty God in this way. (Deuteronomy 12:30-31). "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you." -2 Corinthians 6:17. "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?" (James 4:4). We believe that if any Holy days may be observed by Christians it should be those that were biblically ordained by God such as the Sabbath, Pentecost or Passover etc. "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind."-Romans 14:5
sacred name of God?
We understand Jesus is an English transliteration of the Greek name Iesous. God chose a gentile language for his New Covenant to be written in. Jesus (which means Savior) goes by many different tongues such as Yeshua, Isa, Josu, Yesu, Isus, Ghjesù etc and that the tetragrammaton YHWH is the sacred title by which the Bible uses LORD. We reject the leaven of modern day pharisees who adhere to the Hebrew roots or Sacred name movement cults that cannot agree amongst themselves on any pronunciation of the Son or Father except their disdain for the name of Jesus, the Great I AM who revealed himself to Moses through the burning bush in Exodus 3:14 and as revealed all throughout the Gospel of John. There is power in the name Jesus and no other name by which we must be saved! (Luke 9:49, Mark 16:17, Acts 4:12)
